Lovasiks in BCN

As my parents will be a much better source of vacation stories than I could be via this blog, I will leave most of the lore-sharing to them; however, I would like to leave a few pictures that give a good overall glimpse of their visit to Barcelona.

From a stroll down Ramblas to the narrow streets of the Barri Gothic, and from sliding down the slopes of Montjuic to marveling in Modernista, Barcelona was a great first leg of the trip.  I will leave my parents with the task of describing the several Gaudi masterpieces featured here, the reasons for the charcoal/ashen staining on the ceiling of Santa Maria del Mar, the joys of a pinxo dinner, and salesmanship amongst the “birdcallers”.  With our stomachs full of Iberian ham, we set off for our next stop on the island of Majorca.
