Paris / Agence de la Biomedecine

I was back on the road again, this time at the Agence de la Biomedecine (ABM) in Paris.  The ABM is the national transplant organization for France, coordinating all organ, tissue, and cell donations and transplantations in the country.  I spent 2 busy days at the Agence headquarters, meeting with a number of officials from the French system and discussing the French transplant model.

Aside from my ABM experience, I was able to take in the city of Paris.  My sights on this go-around were a sampling of the classic hits (best-of-the-Louvre, Champs Elysees, Eiffel Tower) and a much greater focus on places that I had not visited yet – Les Invalides, Pere Lachaise cemetery,  the Rodin Museum, L’Orangerie, the Pantheon, and the Centre Pompidou, to name a few.  Paris, yet again, never fails to mesmerize with its fast-paced energy, uniquely Parisian attitude, and absolutely perfect charm.  Magnifique!
