I re-discovered the Slovakian roots of the Lovasiks in the capital city, Bratislava.  While small, it was truly a hidden gem – lots of great restaurants, beautiful sights, and more history than you would imagine from this “forgotten” capital.  While neighboring Vienna, Budapest, and Prague form a tourist triangle around Bratislava, it deserves its own sightseeing stopover for its rich history and surprises around every corner.  Especially the eye-catching Blue Church, nicknamed the “wedding cake church” and “Smurf church” by Slovakians!
